The Wittenberg Role-Playing Guild provides a community for those interested in games on campus ranging from board games and role-playing games to miniatures and collectible card games, and even sometimes online games.

• During the academic year we generally;
• On Friday Nights we run Role-Playing One-shots of a wide variety of Game Systems and genres
• On Saturday Nights we run Board Games from our wide collection of board games, as well as card games and even the occasional miniatures game
• Once a month we hold a General Open Guild Meeting, usually the first Friday of the month
• We also do group trips to local area gaming stores so we can check out what is new and maybe pick up a few things as well
• Of course in March we hold our own Convention, WittCON!

An action, combat-oriented Star Wars game in which players will be able to select the character of their choice from a mix of pre-generated Human and Alien characters. Prior knowledge of the Star Wars: West End Games system or prior experience playing Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game would be a plus.

More Information: Extraodinary Adventures: Pirates

While playing Extraordinary Adventures: Pirates, you become a pirate captain sailing three ships through the Caribbean in search of rich merchants to plunder and friendly ports in which to trade your booty for riches.

In more detail, you have one ship on each of the three "tracks", i.e., pathways through the Caribbean Sea. On each turn, you play three cards from your hand to move your ships. Your cards have a basic movement number, and often a secondary action. You may use one or the other to move your ships down the track or gain special advantages.

Each of the three tracks winds through the Caribbean islands toward your ultimate goal: the Spanish Treasure Galleon at Trinidad. Along the way, there will be detours that lead to merchant ships that may be plundered, and towns that may be visited to cash in your plunder for treasure. Plundering merchant ships and visiting towns also allows you to recruit more crewmen (cards) for your crew (deck). The better your deck is, the faster that your ships are able to move, so deciding when to take detours for plunder and recruiting and when to sail on toward your ultimate goal is an important decision that every pirate captain must make.

The first pirate captain to reach the Treasure Galleon at the end of any track ends the game. Each pirate ship scores points based on what place they finished on each track, as well as for the treasures earned by selling plunder. The richest captain goes down in history as the Pirate King!

More Information: Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island

In Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island you will take the role of one of four characters from the ship crew (cook, carpenter, explorer, or soldier) and work cooperatively to build a shelter, palisade, weapons, tools ,etc and do everything you can to survive. You will have to find food, fight wild beasts, and protect yourself from weather changes among other hazards.

Search for treasures. Discover mysteries. Follow goals of six different, engaging scenarios. Start by building a big pile of wood and setting it on fire to call for help, and then start new adventures.
